Sustainable Design

During this project we are asked to design a building in our campus. My Idea is to build a Student acticity center near the greenary area. Bace on the sunpath I have simulated, the north and west facade will be recieving a lot of solar radiations during afternoon. While the east facade are well shaded by surrounding buildings most of the time. I decided to add a green wall on the north facade so that it can reduce the heat gain from the sun. For the west facade I replaced with double glazed glass to reduce the ETTV and shading device to increrase shadow.

During this project I faced a lot of project, such as how to implement nature ventilations of the building, I many ways yet I choose the easiest way which is creat openings on the north side.
